Dear CBC,

Sunday’s in-person Church Service was a wonderful success. It was a blessing having people in attendance and doing so in a safe manner.

Going forward, in-person Church Services will continue to be held in the Sanctuary. Since all went well, we are also expanding seating into the Education (Ed) Wing starting Sunday, August 30th at 10:30 am.

Tables will be set up in a socially distanced manner and are ideal for families with young children. Children are encouraged to bring their own drawing / coloring materials to use during the service. A television will be placed in the front of the Ed Wing for viewing the service together.

In compliance with established executive orders, we will continue limiting attendance to 25% capacity. Based upon the expanded seating area, we do not anticipate reaching our occupancy limits so no need to RSVP.

We have certainly missed each other during this pandemic, but it is important to continue being safe as we expand in-person church activities.

Please adhere to the following:

  • Anyone who is not feeling well must stay home.
  • Anyone who has a compromised immune system is strongly encouraged to stay home.
  • Touchless temperature checks will be performed at the door before entry (anyone 100.4 degrees F or higher will not be permitted to enter).
  • Face masks / coverings must be worn at all times.
  • Bathrooms will be available for emergencies only.

Please note that the church will be taking the following precautions:

  • There will be one directional flow of people through the building. Please enter through the Main Church Doors Only.
  • Pews have been marked / tables have been located to maintain social distancing requirements of at least 6 feet between families.
  • Due to increased risk of transmission, singing will be not be part of the service.
  • No child services or Sunday school will be held.
  • We realize that it has been too long since we have seen each other in-person. After the Church Service, people in the Sanctuary will exit via the hallway door. People in the Ed Wing will exit via the double doors at the west end of the building. All will be able to socialize outside the building, which is considered much safer than indoors. The wearing of masks and social distancing is requested even outdoors.

Live Streaming Church Services will continue to be available as usual so everyone can be part of the service remotely.

It is our hope that these in-person Church Services are a safe means for growing in our faith with God as well as fellowship with each other.

    1. Prayer Meetings:
    2. Due to some technical and logistical challenges, our weekly Wednesday night prayer meetings have returned to Zoom video conference only, no in-person gathering. Anyone interested in attending just needs to contact Pastor or Paige Miller by Tuesday evening before the meeting date to RSVP and they will share the meeting weblink with you.

    3. Food Resources:
    4. We have recently acquired a list of Monmouth County food pantries and soup kitchens. These agencies are excellent sources for acquiring needed food or, if you wish, donating food and/or funds.

    Welcome to Community Bible Church

It is our privilege to have you visit us at this web site to share our faith in Jesus Christ as we worship and minister the grace of God at Community Bible Church. It is always a blessing to share our ministry with others. We believe the good news that God miraculously changes lives. He brings His peace and joy to seemingly impossible situations; forgives all sin and reconciles repentant sinners to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. Our sincere desire is that you sense the redeeming presence of Christ in ou

Our Church believes the Bible to be God's inspired holy truth. Therefore, whatever we believe, teach, or do, is because we believe it to be God's revealed will for all His children. We see Christianity not as a "passive religion" but rather as an "active way to daily life". Our goal at CBC is to be pleasing to God by seeking to love and glorify Him in all we are and do. In order to live this active Christian life, we must strive in God's power to be devoted to loving God and our neighbor. Therefore, private and public worship, local and worldwide evangelism, Christ-like love and servanthood are to be regular characteristics of our lives. Thank you again for visiting us via this web site and we pray that your visit with us has been a blessing to you in Jesus' name.
